GRAND ISLAND — The Grand Island Police Department arrested a man for possession of controlled substance after marijuana was located in a breastmilk bag, as well as methamphetamine in a book bag.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, (GIPD), officers responded to 3773 Sky Park Road at 5:41 a.m. to assist another officer who had located an unknown white crystal-like substance in a vehicle passenger’s book bag.
The passenger was identified as Joshua Lytle by officers and was the owner of the book bag.
The white substance inside the bag was tested and found to be methamphetamine. A clear bag used to hold breastmilk was also located in the book bag and was found to contain less than an ounce of marijuana.
Along with the marijuana, a smoking pipe that had marijuana residue inside, and appeared to be used to ingest the substance.
Lytle was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana – less than an ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia.
