Kearney's Hike/Bike Trail near Talmadge St., (Brian Neben, Central Nebraska Today)
KEARNEY — The City of Kearney Parks Department in conjunction with Midlands Contracting would like to inform the public that the Hike/Bike Trail from the South Pedestrian Bridge in Yanney Park to the Pedestrian Bridge at Kearney Cinema 8 will be closed for underground utility work and trail maintenance.
Work will begin Monday, Sept. 9, 2024 and is expected to be completed by Friday, Sept. 13, 2024.
Citizens are asked to avoid the area of construction, utilize an alternate route and obey all traffic control devices related to the trail closure.
