GRAND ISLAND — The Grand Island Police Department is investigating after the Hall County Attorney’s Office reported bad payments were being made for existing court cases on Thursday, Oct. 31.

According to the GIPD, officers responded to the Hall County Attorney’s Office on South Locust St. at 11:52 a.m. in reference to a call for service.

Officers were informed that a known individual had been making bad online payments for existing court cases.

Payments to date that have been deemed questionable come to a total of $10,289.54.

The case is currently under investigation by the GIPD.
