GRAND ISLAND — With the Veterans Day on the horizon, the City of Grand Island would like to announce various closures.
All of the below departments will be closed on Monday, Nov. 11:
- Grand Island City Hall
- Crane Public Transit
- Utilities Service Center
- Solid Waste Facility
- Grand Island Public Library
- GIPD Service Desk (Please call 9-1-1)
- Transit Office
- Street & Fleet Office
- Wastewater Treatment Plant
- Grand Island Cemetery Office
Jackrabbit Run Golf Course will remain open for both practice and play from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The Community Fieldhouse will also be open from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. The Heartland Shooting Park will be closed.
