KEARNEY — A semi-trailer tip over accident took place east of Kearney on Interstate 80 during the morning hours of Wednesday, Nov 13.
At 10 a.m., the Kearney Volunteer Fire Department and CHI Health Good Samaritan EMS was dispatched to mile marker 275 on I-80 for the report of a semi-trailer accident that had come to rest in the median.
A line of showers was passing through the Kearney area, making roads wet at the time of the accident.
On scene, within view of the east Kearney I-80 interchange, a semi-trailer was laying in the median on its passenger side.
Nebraska State Patrol units responded to the scene, while others were slowing traffic down near the accident site.
Any information on injuries that could have occurred as a result of the accident was not available at the scene.
