HOLDREGE — In a collaborative effort to bolster the local economy and enhance the quality of life for families, the Holdrege community has established a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting hiring, business sustainability, and the vital services provided by local childcare providers.

The new organization introduces McKenna Fahrenbruch as its Executive Director. McKenna brings a passion for community development and experience in program management as well as Early Childhood Education. She will be supported by a dedicated board of members, including Kevin Moriarty, Jason Sidel, Holly Rahmann, John Poppert, Grant Erickson, Lori Larson, Mark Harrel, and Lindsay Sullivan. Together, this diverse group is committed to addressing key community challenges and fostering community growth.

As part of its mission, the non-profit has developed innovative incentive programs aimed at providing financial support to local childcare providers. These initiatives are designed not only to alleviate the financial burdens on these essential businesses but also to enhance the quality of care they provide to children in the community.

“Our local childcare providers play a crucial role in our community,” said Executive Director McKenna Fahrenbruch. “By creating these incentive programs, we aim to support them in providing high-quality care while ensuring they can sustain their businesses and thrive.”

The non-profit encourages all residents and local businesses to get involved in this transformative initiative aimed at enhancing community well-being and supporting economic growth. Together, we can ensure a brighter future for Holdrege families and businesses.
