Central Nebraska Veterans Home, (Brian Neben, Central Nebraska Today)
KEARNEY — Students from Kearney Public Schools will bring holiday cheer to the residents of the Kearney Veterans Home on Dec. 11 at 2 p.m.
Approximately 25 students will perform festive songs and present handmade holiday ornaments crafted by students as gifts for the veterans.
This initiative reflects the district’s commitment to connecting students with the community and showing appreciation for those who have served our country.
“Our students and staff are excited to bring joy to the veterans during the holiday season and create meaningful connections through music and thoughtful gestures,” said Tracy Schall, Principal of Glenwood Elementary.
