GRAND ISLAND — Stolley Park Road will be open to traffic Nov. 27, from Freedom Drive west of US-30 to Engelman Road, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Werner Construction of Hastings will open Stolley Park Road west of US-30 at Freedom Drive to Engelman Road. Werner Construction will remove the existing barricades, and traffic will resume on Stolley Park Road through the new US-30 intersection. Minor work will continue on US-30 through the winter 2024-2025.
The project will resume full construction spring 2025.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
