According to a report from Mike McMahon of the College Hockey Insider Newsletter, Tri-City Storm Head Coach Mark Abalan has been let go.
In his first season with the Storm, Abalan had an overall record of 11-10-2-1.
Abalan joined the Storm after serving as the Co-Head Coach of Northstar Christian Academy’s 16U AAA team for the past two seasons. Previously, Abalan coached in the USHL with the Sioux City Musketeers and the Chicago Steel.
A voicemail was left with the Storm seeking comment.
