GRAND ISLAND — A woman was arrested in Grand Island after she was found to be in possession of a stolen truck during the evening hours of Monday, Dec. 2.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, officers responded to 1936 12th St. for the report of theft of a motor vehicle from a 31-year-old male.
While officers were responding to the address, the stolen truck was located near 12th St. and White Ave.
Ashley Roberts was located in the truck and was arrested for being in possession of stolen property and theft by unlawful taking.
The truck was then returned to the owner.
