Three members of the fifth-ranked Nebraska Kearney volleyball team have been selected to the 2024 Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Central Region team.

The squad is voted upon by College Sports Communicators (CSC) from within the region; the Central includes the MIAA, Great American Conference (GAC) and Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). First-team honorees move onto the national ballot where they could earn All-American status.

Graduate libero Alli Wiese (Mattawan, Mich.) makes the first team with middle Mia Berg (Eureka, Mo.) and setter Peyton Neff (North Platte) on the second team. This is the first D2CCA honor for both Berg and Neff with Wiese earning the honor last year for Hillsdale (Mich.) College. This is the first time UNK has had a player on this squad since 2019.

Entering the NCAA Tournament tomorrow morning in St. Cloud, Wiese is at 5.55 digs per set with 34 service aces and 84 assists. She joins Neff as Lopers to have appeared in all 107 sets to date. Next, Berg hits .326 and provides 3.2 kills and 1.1 blocks per set with Neff running one of the nation’s top offenses (14.1 kps and a .262 pct.). Individually, Neff currently is at 12.5 assists, 2.6 digs, 0.7 blocks and 0.5 kills per set with 16 aces.

UNK (30-2) faces 32nd-ranked Washburn (20-7) at 11 a.m. in St. Cloud, Minn.
