Boeing aircraft overflying Nebraska, (Brian Neben, Central Nebraska Today)

GRAND ISLAND — Grand Island’s Central Nebraska Regional Airport will be adding new flights to Arizona starting in 2025.

According to Grand Island Tourism, regular flights to Phoenix-Mesa via Allegiant will increase to three starting Jan. 12. Seasonally, Allegiant is adding even more weekly flights to and from Grand Island through April.

Upcoming Allegiant flights connecting to the Phoenix-Mesa airport include:

  • Next week, Dec. 22 and the following week, there will be five flights each of these weeks.
  • Starting the week of Jan. 12, there will be three flights a week, every Sunday, Thursday and Saturday.
  • Starting the week of Feb. 26, there will be four flights a week through April. The flights will be every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Flights to Las Vegas will continue every Sunday and Thursday.
