GRAND ISLAND — A 38-year-old man was arrested in Grand Island for enticement after conversing with two separate 13-year-olds about sexual topics and trying to arrange a meet up at a hotel.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, a man identified as Marcus Jones began conversing with two separate 13-year-olds girls via social media. After learning their ages, he allegedly began discussing sexual topics with them.
The GIPD notes that on multiple occasions Jones discusses sexual topics with each of the 13-year-olds. On Dec. 19, Jones allegedly told the girls he had booked a hotel with the intention of having sexual intercourse with both of the 13-year-olds.
On Dec. 23, Jones arrived at a designated meet up location in Grand Island and was subsequently arrested for enticement by electronic device and seven counts of sexual assault. He was booked into the Hall County Department of Corrections.
