GRAND ISLAND — A motor vehicle theft was reported in Grand Island from the W. Anna St. area on Thursday, Jan. 16.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, at 7:36 a.m., officers arrived at an apartment on W. Anna St. in reference to a stolen vehicle.
Officers spoke with a 35-year-old male who reported that his grey 2002 Ford Taurus was last seen on Wednesday, Jan. 15 around 8:30 p.m. in the parking lot of his apartment complex.
The keys were left in the ignition, and the doors were left unlocked. The vehicle was valued at $7,500.
The case is under investigation.
