GRAND ISLAND — An execution of a search warrant in Grand Island led to the arrest of four people during the late morning hours of Saturday, Jan. 25.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, officers responded to a residence on E. 7th St. in reference to a wanted person.
A search warrant had been issued on the residence for Eleazar Martinez who had multiple Hall County warrants for his arrest.
When officers arrived at the home, Eleazar ran from outside the home to a door on the west side of the home. Officers gave Eleazar commands to stop, but he refused to heed the order. He later exited the residence in the direction of the officers and was placed under arrest.
Eleazar Martinez arrested for Operate Motor Vehicle/ Avoid: Class IV Felony- Hall County Warrant Operator Motor Vehicle: Class IV Felony, DUS: Class III Misdemeanor- Hall County Warrant Possession of a Firearm by Prohibited Person: Class 1D Felony, 28-905 Operate Motor Vehicle/ Avoid: Class IV Felony, Drive Under Suspension: Class III Misdemeanor- Hall County Warrant Obstruction, Class I Misdemeanor.
Additionally, Rosie Martinez was also placed under arrest for harboring and denying Eleazar being at the residence when questioned by police.
Rosie Martinez arrested for Accessory to Felony: Class II Felony.
Michael Martinez was also contacted outside, hiding in a shed and denied that Eleazar was living at the residence. He was placed under arrest.

Also at the residence, Lasaro Casares was arrested for possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine.
