HASTINGS — Hastings Community Theatre (HCT) is thrilled to bring the enchanting musical fairy tale Cinderella (Enchanted Version) to the stage, just in time for Valentine’s Day!
This adaptation of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s classic, based on the 1997 television film starring Brandy and Whitney Houston, invites audiences of all ages to experience the magic of dreams coming true.
Cinderella (Enchanted Edition) with music by Richard Rodgers, book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, adapted for the stage by Tom Briggs, and from the teleplay by Robert L. Freedman is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of The Rodgers and Hammerstein Organization.
With a talented cast of veteran performers, including Sara Shirley and Katrina Hamel, alongside newcomers Connor Zimmer, Chandra White, and Kristopher Wilcox, Cinderella brings to life iconic songs like “In My Own Little Corner,” and “Impossible.” The production celebrates the power of kindness, hope, and believing in the impossible. Directed by Jessica Brock with music direction by Calli Samuelson and assistant direction by Amy Sandeen, this production breathes new life into the beloved fairy tale, delivering an outing that’s perfect for families, friends, and anyone who loves a bit of magic.
Performances are schedule to run Friday, Saturday and Sunday on Feb. 14, 15, 16, 21, 22 and 23. Performances on Fridays and Saturdays are at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2:30pm. Hastings Community Theatre is located in the Good Samaritan Village, 515 S 4th Ave, Hastings.
Tickets are $25.00 for adults and $22.00 for Seniors/Students. Tickets will be available online beginning January 27. Tickets will also be available at the door on performance nights until sold out.
