GRAND ISLAND — The Grand Island Little Theatre announces the February show of the 2024-2025 season,
“Invisible Eddie” a comedy by Becky Kimsey. Show dates are Feb. 7, 8, 14 and 15 at 7:30 p.m. and Feb. 9 and 16 at 2 p.m. at College Park Auditorium, 3180 West US Highway 34, Grand Island.
Invisible Eddie is a hilarious new comedy about Eddie, a timid introvert, still living with his Aunt Mary. When he loses his job, Mary and her fiance’ George decide to have Eddie hypnotized to make him feel “invincible” around strangers.
Unfortunately, the Hypnotist (who had had a few too many) mistakenly convinces Eddie that he is “invisible” around strangers instead. Throw in a superintendent, a lustful landlady, a blustering boss, a blind Bonny, and a baited barkeep at the Cock and Poppy Bar and you’ve got yourself a cracking good comedy!
Cast members are Hayden Honomichl as Eddie Bowers, Vicky Hoch as Mary Bowers, Chris Hemmer as George Carey, Robyn Kenyon as Miz Dover, Laura Fentress as Bonny Carey, Jim Truell as Conrad, Lori Lamprecht Moss as Dr Henrietta Hans Zoff, Ty Havranek as Mr Sexton, and Don Deitemeyer as Jerry.
