KEARNEY — As many of you know, we have a weather event predicted for Wednesday, and we have been watching the predictions for this event closely.
According to the most recent forecast, the National Weather Service believes we will have snow and extremely high wind in the Kearney area sometime between 1 a.m. tonight through Wednesday afternoon.
The predictions call for the heaviest snow in the early morning hours as we would be considering young drivers on the roads. So, with that in mind, we are canceling school and closing the district tomorrow for students and staff.
The district will be closed and all events are canceled.
