HASTINGS — The City of Hastings will focus on snow removal in downtown Hastings starting around 11 p.m., on Thursday, March 20.
The area extends from First Street to Fourth Street and Burlington Avenue to Minnesota Avenue.
Although this is not an official snow emergency, vehicle owners are asked not to park in the included area overnight Thursday into Friday morning.
The cleanup effort will be led by the Street Department with assistance from other city departments and contractors.
Work is expected to be completed by 7 a.m., Friday so on-street parking can resume before the business day begins.
