GRAND ISLAND – The Grand Island Casino Resort will open at 6 p.m. April 10, said its general manager, Vince Fiala.
The business will have approximately 440 employees, of which 80 percent are full-time employees, he said.
The casino will feature a 164 room hotel and four dining options.
Ruthie’s Steak and Seafood will give guests a rooftop dining experience. “22 and Vine” is a family dining restaurant. Also, Draft Day Sports Lounge is an option. Visitors will also have an option for “grab and go” food.
The casino will also have a banquet area that can seat up to 200 people. There will be a spa, and also indoor and outdoor pools.
“We’re really looking forward to this,” Fiala said.
The casino features 750 slot machines and 20 live table games.
