GRAND ISLAND — A man was arrested in Grand Island for first degree sexual assault on Friday, March 21.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, officers made contact with a 40-year-old woman who reported that she had been sexually assaulted while she was unconscious on Sunday, March 16 at a Grand Island residence.
Officers located Jon Ostermeier and arrested him for first degree sexual assault.
According to a check of court records, Ostermeier is also facing felony stalking charges and three counts of violating a protection order.
Ostermeier pleaded not guilty to the charges and has a hearing set for April 23 at 10 a.m.
