EUTIS — In the early morning hours of Saturday, March 29, 2025, the Frontier County Sheriff’s Office was notified of thefts that occurred in the Village of Eustis.

Upon investigation, it was determined that three males entered approximately 10 vehicles and a garage where they stole several items.

Surveillance video was gathered from homes in the area. The Frontier County Sheriff’s Office was able to identify the vehicle involved along with one of the individual’s identities with assistance from other law enforcement agencies.

On Monday, March 31, 2025, the Frontier County Sheriff’s Office obtained and served a search warrant on a residence in Elwood with assistance from the Gosper County Sheriff’s Office. The Frontier County Sheriff’s Office was able to locate one individual involved and stolen items were located inside the residence.

The identity of the other two males was discovered at that time. The one suspect from Elwood was charged with Theft by unlawful taking, Burglary, and Possession of a stolen firearm, the other two suspects are from Kearney and charges are pending locating them.

We would like to thank the Gosper County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance with this case and the citizens who provided video footage. I would also commend the efforts of my deputies in bringing this case to a quick and successful conclusion.
