HASTINGS — U.S. Highway 6 will be closed between Showboat Boulevard and Blaine Avenue from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m., on Sunday April 13.
The closure is to allow Hastings Utilities linemen to safely string new, upgraded line across the highway.
There will be two phases to stringing the line. The highway may open up briefly between the two phases if there is traffic waiting to pass.
The intersections at Showboat Boulevard and Blaine Avenue will be open so vehicles can use those roads to travel around the closure.
