GRAND ISLAND — A suspect was arrested in Grand Island for his fourth driving under the influence offense during the early morning hours of Friday, April 11.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, at 12:37 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Locust St. and Ashton Ave. and contacted a driver who was identified as Taryn Devault.
According to the officers, Devault showed signs of gross impairment during the traffic stop. An administrative records check showed Devault has three prior convictions for DUI in the last 15 years.
While searching Devault’s vehicle, officers found three open bottles of alcohol underneath the drivers and passenger’s seats.
Devault was arrested for DUI – fourth offense and possession of an open container.
