Two Rivers Public Health Department, (Brian Neben, Central Nebraska Today)

KEARNEY — Two Rivers Public Health Department has partnered with Nebraska Extension, University of Nebraska Medical Center, and the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center to host “Let’s Chat Cancer” and free cancer screenings on Tuesday April 22.

This event is open to the public and will be held at the Regional Engagement Center in Kearney (2204 university Dr.) from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m.

Ed Peters with University of Nebraska Medical Center will be speaking from 1:30 – 2:30, with screenings to follow. Services available may include a Cancer Eligibility Questionnaire to help guide individuals to the right test. There will also be a Cancer Risk Assessment with recommendations to lower your cancer risk.
