KEARNEY — The City of Kearney Utilities announce no parking along 28th Street from 5th Avenue to 9th Avenue beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 30.
The Water Operations Division will be replacing several water services along 28th Street. Residents will still be able to access their properties, but parking will not be allowed on 28th Street.
The work is anticipated to take two weeks and roadway be fully reopened by 5 p.m. on Friday, October 11, weather and construction permitting.
Motorists are asked to plan their alternative route(s) and use caution when in the area.
