HASTINGS — The City of Hastings Street Department is closing 14th Street between Turner and Elm avenues to assist a private contractor with a sewer and water replacement project.
Underground work is scheduled to begin Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 15. The work is anticipated to be completed, and the area reopen, on Monday Oct. 21.
Turner Avenue north and south of 14th Street will be open only to local traffic during the project. The marked detour includes going around the block, so motorists will travel on Cedar Avenue.
