HASTINGS — A vehicle that had been stolen from Grand Island was later recovered in Hastings, the suspect was also apprehended.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, officers were asked to assist the Hastings Police Department with a possible stolen vehicle investigation.
During the investigation, it was determined that a white 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe had been stolen in Grand Island and was then recovered in Hastings.
The GIPD found that forcible entry was gained into the Grand Island residence and the keys to the vehicle had been stolen.
A suspect in the case was apprehended in Hastings and taken into custody. The case remains under investigation.
