GRAND ISLAND — The Grand Island Police Department is investigating the theft of construction tools valued at $8,000 over the weekend.
According to the GIPD, Diamond Engineering reported that between Saturday, Nov. 16 and Monday, Nov. 18, someone forced their way into their trailers on Elk Dr. at a construction site and took tools that were valued over $8,000.
The GIPD is currently investigating the case.
