GRAND ISLAND – Hall County Commissioners received a detailed description Nov. 19 of the exterior of the entrance to the Hall County Courthouse addition.
Steve Severson with Lincoln architectural company Davis Design showed commissioners an image of an architect’s illustration of the entrance to the courthouse addition, with the entrance being on the northeast corner of the building.
Many of the elements of the new entrance repeat features of the existing building, such as use of brick in part of the construction of the new entrance. There will be a slanted overhang over the entrance to the courthouse, designed so that moisture can drain from the top of the feature.
