MERRICK CO. — On Friday, Nov. 22, at approximately 1:10 a.m., Deputies were detailed to Highway 30 and U Road for a single vehicle rollover.
A preliminary investigation concluded that a Pontiac Grand Prix was traveling Westbound, crossed the center line, and entered into the south ditch and rolled multiple times.
The driver, identified as Jessica L. Becker, 34, of Merrick County and sole occupant of the vehicle was transported to Merrick Medical Center for serious non-life threatening injuries.
It is unknown if the driver was wearing a seatbelt. Alcohol is believed to be a contriburing factor.
The crash is under investigation at this time.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by the Clarks Fire and Rescue Department and the Silver Creek Fire and Rescue Department.
