LEXINGTON — Dawson Public Power District’s Board of Directors has chosen Alyssa Clemsen Roberts as the District’s next General Manager. She will begin her duties in April 2025.
“I’m thrilled to be selected as the next General Manager. It’s an honor to join such a highly regarded organization,” Clemsen Roberts said.
Clemsen Roberts, originally from Iowa, is currently the CEO at New Hampshire Electric Cooperative in Plymouth, New Hampshire. She has worked at Delta Montrose Electric Association in Montrose, Colorado, and Platte River Power Authority in Fort Collins, Colorado. Prior to her electric utility career, she was a loan specialist and grant program manager with the USDA Rural Utilities Service. She also served in the US Navy as a Sonar Technician and Instructor for four years.
“Dawson Public Power District has been led by outstanding general managers. We are excited that Alyssa will be our next one,” said Board President Dan Muhlbach.
The District’s current General Manager, Gwen Kautz, has agreed to continue to serve the District until Clemsen Roberts begins her Dawson PPD career.
