Push notifications appear on the screen screen of your device when there is an important news, sports or weather story from Central Nebraska Today.  You won’t need to have the app open, but you’ll be able to see important breaking stories on your home screen.

If you accidentally disabled push notifications, or didn’t enable them when you installed the app, you can easily restore them.

For iOS:

• Go to SETTINGS and then select NOTIFICATIONS on your iPhone.
• Scroll down to CENTRAL NEBRASKA TODAY and tap on the app icon.
• Toggle the “Allow Notifications” switch to the ON position.

For Android:

• Open the SETTINGS app on your Android device.
