GRAND ISLAND — The Grand Island Public Schools Foundation (GIPSF) is thrilled to announce the addition of three esteemed community leaders to its Board of Directors: Yetzira “Yetzy” Calvillo Bermudez, Robert Alexander, and Jennifer Worthington.

Yetzira “Yetzy” Calvillo Bermudez: A longtime Grand Island resident and an employee of Five Points Bank, Yetzy brings a wealth of community involvement to the Foundation. Her experience with organizations like the YWCA, Multi-Cultural Coalition, and Leadership Unlimited demonstrates her dedication to improving the lives of others. As a GIPS parent, Yetzy understands the importance of quality education and is eager to contribute to the Foundation’s mission.
Robert Alexander: An attorney with Dowding, Dowding & Dowding, and an active community member, Robert brings a strong legal and leadership background to the Foundation. His commitment to excellence and his passion for education will be invaluable assets to the Board.
Jennifer Worthington: With a distinguished career in education and extensive experience on the Grand Island Public Schools Board of
Education, Jennifer possesses a deep understanding of the district’s needs and challenges. Her insights and guidance will be instrumental in guiding the Foundation’s efforts to support student success.
